Tommy,Matt, and Isiah let me know they were on the way, and arrived on time. They greeted me in a friendly and professional manner and introduced themselves. They put covers on their shoes before entering the house and put drop cloths on the floors and over the furniture. Tommy went over every detail of the installation, and discussed options. They kept me informed and involved every step of the way.
The work was completed in a professional manner. They kept the work areas clean, and put everything back in its place.
This is the second large job Universe has done for us. I HIGHLY recommend this company !

Detailed and knowledgeable explanation of options to repair an older AC unit versus full replacement

I’m an NYC contractor, and I don’t typically call companies like this unless I’m out of options—but I’m glad I did in this case.

I had a sink issue where the garbage disposal needed replacing and the drain kept flooding my kitchen. I actually replaced the disposal myself, but I couldn’t get the drain to stop leaking. What should’ve been a simple fix turned into a week of frustration trying to find someone reliable—nothing but excuses and half-finished work from others.

I called Universe this morning, and they had someone out by noon. Everything was completed by 2 PM.

The dispatcher was extremely professional and empathetic, and even removed the dispatcher fee after I explained that I normally wouldn’t use services like this unless I had no other option. That alone went a long way.

Jeff Madonia did the work—he was efficient, professional, and got everything done in about 2 hours. He treated me like a fellow professional, but also had that easy, down-to-earth energy like an old college roommate you haven’t seen in years.

No headaches. No babysitting the job. No back-and-forth over pricing. Just clean, straightforward work.

Honestly, for something that should’ve been simple but turned into a hassle with other contractors, this was the complete opposite experience.

The service guy was very professional and fixed my issue quickly with no issues.

We had substantial electrical work done by Keith and a wonderful team of Trevor and Ryan. The three worked straight for almost 9 hours, and always with a smile and receptive to answering questions. They could be heard laughing with each other, too … a true collegial team. The work was done beautifully, and clean-up was thorough. Thank you, men.

I called at 8:00 PM ON a Wednesday; And they arrived before 9:00 PM . Anthony was very professional and diligent.

Nick S. came to do the yearly service for my air conditioning. Nick is great and very up front which I like. After almost 17 years I need a new system. Ugh! He brought me outside and showed me all the reasons why it should be replaced. I could wait & see but didn’t want to risk it so Saturday I’ll be getting a new system. It just needs to be done. I was very happy Mick explained everything to me. He’s very knowledgeable & friendly.
